Ovid Chitsiku is an admitted attorney of the high court of South Africa with solid experience in deal structuring, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance. He has a firm understanding of corporate and commercial law.
Ovid started his legal career at Peter Le Mottee a boutique commercial law firm. He then joined Dm5 Incorporated as an associate and grew quickly to become a senior associate.
At Dm5, Ovid Chitsiku advised on a number of transactions in the region spanning banking and mining. Thereafter, he joined Kumvest, an investment holding firm, as a director in mergers and acquisitions, afterwhich he cofounded Sandama Legal Advisory.

Over 30 years ago, John Honywill founded Fernhill which has become a leading provider of logistics solutions across Africa. The company has a rich history of overcoming challenges and pioneering innovative approaches to supply chain management.
In the late 1980s, John and his company entered the Zimbabwean market by managing elephant populations in national parks. This unique experience not only solidified the company's understanding of wildlife logistics but also fostered strong relationships with government agencies. Later, he penetrated the transportation sector, growing a trucking business from 6 to 80 vehicles within 10 years.
John diversified the company’s portfolio, managing fuel transportation for BP and Shell. Notably, the company established the only non-South African entity to pass their rigorous vetting processes, demonstrating its commitment to high standards. This success led to partnerships with the National Railways of Zimbabwe and established his company as a trusted logistics partner.
Josh Fourie started in the motor industry in 2011 straight out of school. Shortly after in 2013 he was involved in Logistics into Africa which sparked his passion for trading.
During the same time period he started his career in the security industry and now has over 9 years experience in this area.

Lisa Pettit has been an invaluable member of the FBT Team since 2015. Her extensive administration & planning experience makes her highly organized and a great communicator.
She co-ordinates all the corporate governance, administration, financial and legal compliance for the FBT Group of Companies. She also supports our local and international personnel.
